between 1-10mm are ok.
any bigger i would want hubcentric that bolt to the hub then the wheel to the spacer.

But if you get the right ones they you will be fine.

With my standard wheels i allways use 20mm spacers allround. They bolt to the hub and then my whell to the spacer.
ATM on the rear with my tt comps i have 5mm spacers.

cheers pip yer those are the ones i would be after with my montreal alloys i think 15mm hubcentric by H&R do you rate them?
because the wheels come out wider does it mean they dont have to be lowered as much because they come out more? i also read that they improve handling?

thanks in advance danny

The width spacer u need totally depends on the offset or et of your alloys, their width, your tyres width, the look you're after and the standard et the car is set up to take! It does improve handling as gives a wider base. Too low with width/ low et's = scrubbing, too much width/ low et's with no lows (poke) = illegal! Get your calculator out! ;)

I would only ever buy H&R, far better quality than anything else.

You have to think they are the only thing keeping your wheels on
