ticking noise

hello all, i have a ticking noise every time i put my foot down and then again when i take it off againg, anyone have any iders?cheers

how loud is it and where does it appear to be coming from?

its from under the bonnet and its about as loud as you can click your tongue,lol

Do the clicks change with different revs or speed?

i have a weird ticking noise in my gti to.
except its just when i turn the ignition on.
its a cross between ticking and dripping and comes from the sounds of it near the passenger side of the car but under the bonnet.
can only hear it inside the car tho.

Its nothing to worry about - its just the TB aligning and getting ready to start.
