Since lowering my car i have noticed the negative camber on my front wheels; rear are fine. Took it to get alighment and tracking done and was told something about not being able to adjust the toe on these cars (excuse me if im wrong i cant remember what he said too well). tbh i dont mind the camber but i can see it eating away at my inner tyres, the reading i got was approx -2.15 on each side. a bit of browsing and i came across this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT
anyone come across or use these before? how do they work exactly and isit worth my while geting a set even though it only adjusts up to +/-1.75? is there a product that would allow me to fully correct my camber?
any feedback would be much appreciated
Kuru.
Front Camber Bolts?
Re: Front Camber Bolts?
All cars have negative camber. Theese things are bassicly washers that sit behind the hub to adjust the camber to positve or negative if you look on venom motorsport they have them on there to and some more detial of how they work
Re: Front Camber Bolts?
They dont work on the 9N. I bought them and wasted £14
The only was to adjust the camber is to use adjustable top mounts, KW do a set

Re: Front Camber Bolts?
Shame on you VENOM or who ever they are claiming to be, these camber bolts are only suitable for 6N Polo and 6K Ibiza - ie up to early 2001 Polo and up to early 2002 Ibiza. For anyone that has bought them, either sell them on for use on cars that I have described above - or get your money including return p&p back from these jokers.
I've heard that the normal way to sort this is to slot the TCA upper and lower bolt holes for the bottom swivels. If you are then worried about weakening the TCA what you do next is to fit spreader plates above and below the bolts, then after the car has been aligned, get these washers welded to the top and bottom of the TCA.

Re: Front Camber Bolts?
Oh no, you are describing the tapered wedges that get fitted behind the rear hub to correct a bent rear beam - the rears should not alter camber much when you lower them as the rear suspension is trailing arm so pivots "front to rear" and not "in and out".g__humm wrote:All cars have negative camber.
