What is this?

Post by Dom_ »

Was having a nosy at my pedal box (can't seem to see anything flexing, even though it does creak :( ) and noticed this switch like thing that wasn't connected to anything, wondering if anyone could shed some light on it :D

Picture isn't great, sorry

thats either your break light switch or your clutch depress switch. it twist locks into a holder above the appropriate pedal and is released on each pedal depress.

Well, pretty sure it's not the brake switch as I could see that one in, and the brake lights work just fine.

It was just hanging down when I took the lower cover off, odd. What does a clutch depress swicth do anyway?

It just alerts the engine to reduce the fuel flow into the engine when the clutch is depressed :P nothing particularly exciting.
