hiya guys and girls, i have owned my polo 9n for about 4months and tge garage said it had been serviced. now when i bought it i had the timing belt done but just this week the service spanner on the dash beeps when the ignition is turned on which indicates another service.
im thinking tht they havent reset the recorder so does anybody know how to do it plz

Its got to be done through vag com or the like iirc

No, you can do it without vag-com.
Hold the button on the clocks down whilst turning the ignition on. Once the ignition is on (don't start the car) let go of the button and then twist it (like you are setting the clock) either left or right, I forget.
I do this on mine, but it for some reason comes on every 1,000 miles!

Agree with David, Was surpised when my mate did the GF's polo last week.
