I've upgraded my front speakers, but was thinking of doing the rears also, are they easy to do? It looks like the rear bench gets in the way of the grills

Yes they are. In the 3 door 16.5 coaxials in the 5 door 16.5 components.
And yes, take the door card off and its very simple after that
