Rattling Sound on Startup

hey guys when i start my polo up, now and again i get a rattling sound, doesnt effect how the car starts up, but its very

intermittent, anyone know what it could be? starter motor? also my key fob doesnt work sometimes, i have to unlock the car

with the key, ive already replaced the batterys

You need a new remote fob - hickleys.co.uk sell them for a reasonable price

As for the rattle, it could be a mount, something inside the engine, a loose bolt - you really need someone to listen with the bonnet open when you start it to try and narrow it down
