idle this morning?

When you started you car this morning what was it idling at?

mine sat at 1200rmp and dropped after 5 mins to 8500.

Is this normal in the cold morning?

Yes, mine always idles at about 1100-ish from all cold starts, then in roughly a few minutes it's slow down to about 900.

Yeah just the Automatic Choke doing its job perfectly

My MG Metro was a right pain on cold mornings because it had manual choke, I used to let it idle at 2K to stop it from stalling

Mine is also the same when it is cold, soon goes back to about 800-900 when it has warmed up a bit tho
