On the rear axle - if looking from the rear, its on the left hand side

There is often more than one - often one in passenger door too

Why do you think yours is playing up

I tried to adjust the beam using VAGCOM and no movement. Nothing, kaput!

It kept throwing up a random error of the front left sensor.. That'll be the door one me thinks?

Also - the beam isnt adjusted with vagcom. That only controls the self levelling

If you want to change the beam angle and height, youll have to adjust it manually on the headlight itself

Where does one adjust that on the actual headlight... because, umm.. well, fitting my sidelights, whilst trying to remove the cover of the headlight i started unscrewing at something that seemingly did nothing... when i realised this wasn't the screw i was looking for i just rescrewed it back but i fear i've now ruined the headlight alignment.

I feel a bit thick for doing that. :(

On the top. There are two holes in the firewall. One in the middle, and one on the wing side. They are white nylon, and require a large headed Phillips or 7mm Allen key to adjust

Middle does up and down. Outside does left to right
