alarm sensor

Post by wackojackso »

Does anybody no if the alarm sensor with the light in it, like the one found on the Passat and Bora fits the Polo GTI, i.e. is the wiring right?

example below....

Nice idea but i very much doubt the Polo has an output ready for the built in interior light.

this is what I thought, but I can't understand why the polo one needs six wires going to it, which is what mine has?

It has a loop back and tamper wiring in it. Its not suitable for an interior light

I worked at VW for quite a while, but I have picked most of it up over the last few years. Plus I have access to all the workshop manuals and wiring diagrams etc, so I can give a calculated answer based on that if I dont know it off the top of my head :P
