Right, I have decided whilst im off over christmas to do some things that have been bothering me
Bushes
Wheel bearings
Change my front shocks
All top mounts
Allingment
Repaint all 4 corners (dam london drivers)
Question, how hard are the bearings to change in the front?
Plans for the new year are BMC (waiting on ben) & Front strut,
work to do over christmas

Simply, an absolute pain in the ass. If you can get a good quality bearing puller that can work in situ on the hub then you can do it on the car, but otherwise itll be a hub off job and down to someone who can remove and press a new bearing in such as kwikfit, formula one etc
As for all top mounts, i wouldnt worry about the rears as they dont wear. Its the front along with the axial bearings that sit in them that you should change. A new full set of fronts with bearings is about £60 from VW

Cheers alex. It needs to be done as there is a noise coming from the front wheel. Sounds weird.
As for the mount's, I want to stiffen the front as it feels worn and wobbly. I still haven't got around to fitting them shocks yet and they were needed 3 months ago!!!
