In Dash CD Changer

Post by MrP »

I'm after an In Dash CD changer.. I know that you can get the ones from a later Golf/Bora/Polo.. But up to what year as I've been told MKV ones are different.. maybe?

Also how do they fit? Do I need a new wire or will I have to use the original which will be a ball ache as it's looooooong!

Any info would be nice please as I want a CD player ASAP and I'm NOT going aftermarket again..

I just removed mine and put it in to the other car.. From memory, it's just a wire from the radio in to the CD player for power and then an illumination lead is required to make the buttons light up. Have a look on eBay for some of them. They should all come with the right cables.
