Rain water Leak in cabin. Seems a common problem?

Post by woter324 »

Reading through the post it appears as though water leaking into the cabin is a problem.

Mine had a leak that flooded the boot running into the rear passenger seat and ended up stinking the car out and staining the seats.

The dealer took the car back and said there was a pocket collecting water on the Left rear window. They had to refit the window and weld a seam up. But its worked so far.

By the way my dealer was Hayselden (Barnsley) and they are excellent at after sales. They also sorted the tracking as after 1500 miles I had to have two new tyres, completly bald on the inside. All paid for by them. and they correctly wired up my Nokia HFK to the radio for nothing.

Excellent deal on the car. 52 bought last Oct, with 8k on the clock. Ex-demo. £8750. 1.4 16V Sport 9N

I had the same problem, but my dealer told me it was coming from the sunroof. Do you have sunroof?
Hopefully today I'll have my car fixed... I had to take it 3 times becouse they didn't find where the problem was coming :?
So it seems I am not alone with this problem...
