Hi,
My steering wheel has recently started rubbing/scratching/grinding when you turn the wheel.
I have looked around the wheel, and along the bottom left of the wheel, there is a small piece of what looks to be copper sticking out, rubbing on the wheel.
There is also, a square piece of metal moving about right next to it, Im not sure if this is normal..
This is hard for me to explain with out pictures. I can try and get pictures later tonight. Im assuming by removing the steering wheel i can try and fix the issues, but i don't want to remove the steering wheel to find out the shims or brackets (or what ever is beneath the wheel), is damages to hell so i cant put the wheel back on.
Has any one come across this problem before?
Lewis

Thats the horn push ring. Squirt some WD40 in there and the noise will go away
