Refurbed Boavista Alloys

Post by AJ_7 »

Hi guys,

I've read several posts on here about black Monza's looking a tad retarded on white polo GTI's. However, I'm considering getting my 17" Boavista Alloys refurbed into either a matte black or an anthracite finish. My polo is a 1.2 TSI SEL 3 door in Candy White. How do you think it would look?

Go for anthracite or grey as Benny Boy has done with his GTI looks great. However if you are going black why not get the faces diamond cut so you have the Worthersee concept look 8)

I'd go for anthracite mate. Makes a good contrast to the tyre wall and it's a bit different to other cars on the road.

Almost every other car ive seen reccently have Anthracite wheels now.

Especially new audi's. Its a popular option now.

Buts its popular because it looks great!

Just a quick one guys, do VW dealers do Alloy Wheel Refurbishment or do they normally outsource these sort of jobs to another company? I'm going for the Nimbus Grey coating as I don't need much convincing after looking at Benny Boys! :D

I had some Diamond cut wheels refurbished when we had an EOS about 18 months ago and the VW dealer did not offer this service but they recommended a 3rd party wheel specialist which they used, so ring your dealer.
