selector shaft seal

I've ordered the gear selector shaft seal from Vw and going to be fitting it just asking for any advice on doing it?
change it as quick as you can for one!
Ensure you undo the correct bolt to remove the linkage - its a pain in the ass to realign if you remove the wrong bolt
Youll need a sharp pointed hook to get the old one out, and a deep socket/pipe in order to push the new one in
