Cabin filter leak?

Post by dantheram »

I have water appearing in the far left of the passenger footwell, its on the grey carpet up against the rubber door trim.

Is this the cabin filter letting in water?

If so how do i re-seal this?

The cabin filter isnt located in the glovebox like in an Audi A3 for example. Its in the scuttle tray. Check your door seals (those rubber things that run along the frame) arent damaged. Cant really think of another way that water would get down there :?

The scuttle drains are probably blocked up - remove the tray and check for leaves etc and clear it all out.
