how do u remove the clock surround piece??

hi guys, how do you remove that piece from around the clocks i'm just after the piece were in the gti it's shiny black as i was thinking of painting mine.

remove the screw underneath and then pull CAREFULLY towards the drivers seat

it will take abit of force though just be care ful and take your time

ahh cheers guys, oo dont give up i got a small flat blade and started at bottom right and pulled that piece out den worked my way round its on some metal clip things it's tight but do able.
