Leathers after they've been given a good polish using zymol's leather cleaner, and finished off with AG leather conditioner. Fitting the W8 passat domelight today as well, will get a few more pics up later :)

Been waiting to see this progress thread for ages!! Particularly interested if your lower strut brace made any difference to handling- as i have one in my garage gathering dust..

Did the braided hoses give any better feel either?

Looking good man!

Lower strut brace gave a noticeable difference, but I did fit my polybushes around the same time as well. It does tighten up the front end rather well. Keep it lowered, and you've sorted your centre of gravity as well. Braided hoses give a better feel ayy, but i still think the polo needs a bigger brake servo, but thats just me ;)

Thanks to everyone's comments. Yeah I'll need to get some more pics up, but the weather's been real shoddy recently. I've fitted the W8 domelight, will get a few pics of that up. Its abit off at one corner, but you cant see it unless your staring down from behind the rear view mirror heh. Car has recently hit the 100K mark, and its hasnt missed a single beat.

Its a really good mod mate. Hardest part is actually chopping up the roof, and its only hard if you're an impatient as me  Its not a mod that will fit 100% , more like 95%. But that 5% is hardly noticeable anyways. I've been working overtime this week, so not have been able to get some pics up. Also, am totally skint till next week. Will be doing the cruise mod soon though!

Looking forward to the pics ;)

I was thinking of getting the roof lining done in black, that would make it harder to spot the gap in the W8 light mod i reckon.

I still have to wait until by birthday next month before I can get on with some of the other mods (ie cruise control) :(

I'll try and get some pics up this weekend. Anyone know any good bodyshop folks in the Surrey area? I need some bumper scuffs looked at  Just had to take another job for the summer, so I'm gonna be pretty busy but hopefully I'll finally see some cash spent on the car.

Yeah my manifold is touching my lower brace. That lower brace looks like its gone through hell, and I'm thankful for it being there. Because if it wasnt for it, my sump or exhaust would be in smithereens right now :)

Haha, rattling was cured by my speaker system  yeah, speed humps are a lowered car's worst enemy. Over the weekend my dad decided to lock my keys inside the car, and I had to break into my car to get them, leaving some nasty scratches near the plastic roof rails :(
