polo fun handbrake lever & gearknob

Post by logistix »

hello everyone,
i've just fitted my new handbrake lever and gearknob listed under polo fun accessories. i think the standard ones were a little boring, now the leather and the stitches on them add a sporty look. What do you guys think about them?

thanks m8 :)
i live in turkey so the prices are somewhat different, but it was around €70 total.
the handbrake is really easy to fit, there is a small hole underneath the lever where the plastic cover clicks into place with the lever stick. you simply take it out with the help of a screwdriver and the new one just snaps into place.
the gearknob was a little more difficult, there is a metal ring that holds the knob in place underneath the leather. you need to loosen it with a screwdriver to release the knob. then when you fit the new gearknob, you need to tighten the new metal ring with pliers. took me a while to sort it out but once you know it it takes at most 5 minutes.
by the way, does anyone know the part number for the gt/fun steering wheel with chrome inserts and the same style stitchin'? if the price is ok i might as well complete the set :)

cheers everyone
