Newbie. SEL 1.4 3 dr

Hi folks,

Been browsing on this site for a while and finally decided to become a member.

Purchased a brand new SEL 1.4 Candy white 3 door with 17" boavista alloys a couple of months ago and absolutely love it. (Should get some pics up tomorrow).

Just wanted some opinions on modifications. e.g. lowering the car and websites to get some good equipment etc as my knowledge on this isn't the strongest.

Also has anyone got the same model with same spec and have any pictures?

Hi mate, welcome I have the same, Candy White 3dr SEL but I opted for the 1.2 TSi engine, also with the Boavistas. B19NS also has the same as me so there's a couple about His has been lowered with H&R springs. There is a thread with pictures somewhere!

Very nice! I would of preferred the 1.2 TSI however funds couldn't stretch that far and also the insurance would of been sky high since I'm just a young'un.

Looks really good on those lowered springs, it's something i'll definatley be doing at some point. I've PM'd you if you want a peek at some pics of mine
