LJG,

I'm also interested in fitting the GTI grill to my SEL. What would your plans be with removing the gti badge? would you replace it with something else, remove it completely or..?

Chris.

On mine av removed the GTI badge but it leaves 3 small holes on the main grille so its best to find a different badge to cover them up with.

I've seen alternative badges on other forums, including an ABT badge (Available in silver/black) or a rectangle VW Racing badge, which looked good but struggling to find a picture. Will post a picture if I find it.

Bit late I know but found it anyhow.. VW Racing badge fits perfectly over the blank panel when you remove the GTi badging.
