Are all 9n hubs the same?

Does anyone know if the 9n polo hubs are same through out the whole range?

I need a n/s/f + ABS hub for my 1.9 tdi sport and i've been offered one from a 1.2 petrol, it looks the same but just thought id check first!!

I would guess so mate, 5x100 and they have the abs reluctor ring in them but it depends on the number of splines for the cv joint, if you mean the hub carrier then other than a GT i think they may all be the same. K.I.T.T will be the man to confirm i reckon

Thats what i was thinking, i need to replace the hub cos i went to change the pads and found that a garage (from some point in the cars history) had bodge fitted a non FSIII caliper, stripping the threads out for the retaining bolts!!

The carriers themselves are the same (apart from the GT) if they run 256mm brakes (I think some lesser engined ones run 239mm discs), but the hubs are different. Don't have access to ETKA atm, but all the 1.4 and 1.9 TDIs have the same hubs. Here's a screenshot I took ages ago:


I'm planning on fitting the GT hub and brake setup soon and should have a set of 46k mile 1.4 TDI hubs which I can let go for pennies if that's of any use?

If you are needing hubs I have both sides including the strutts that are sitting in one of my sheds pm me if you need any parts. Cheers Sandy
