More pics needed!
Re: My Polo Turbo
Now she's murdered,
Since the last pics were taken, i've got the 4 pots on, all properly bled and it's braking as it should for the first time in its life!
Gave everything underneath some love, cleaned and painted a few bits and pieces. The entire car is now poly bushed and has stainless steel brake lines throughout. I've also removed the wheel bolts and replaced them with studs and lightweight ally nuts, to make changing wheels at the track easier.
few more bits and pieces to do before I rip it all to bits and give it a full respray.
Re: My Polo Turbo
Borbet's are off, 16' Turbo Teledials are on, these will be getting mirror polished over the winter, so i've just picked up a set of D90's to use (I'll be refurbishing them over the weekend) I've also just finished my show wheels. Also fitted poverty spec lower grilles and jap spec plate with plate tilter.
Wheels for show season;

Re: My Polo Turbo
So today, i decided to sort out a few little niggles that've been bugging me with the polo.
First off...
Fire damage to back bumper, gonna sort the paint and then use gold heat reflective tape around the exhaust to make a heat sheild.
Cracked front wheel arch, caused by catching the bumper lol. I'll have to dig it out and skim it again.
Cracks around the TT filler flap, again I'll have to dig it out and re skim.
I've already made a start by wrestling with the flap to get it off. When it's off it'll be powder coated crackle black and the bolts replaced with gold, to match the Schmidt TH's I have for it.
here's some progress from today
Started by digging out the filler in the affected areas
Skimmed a couple times.
Not a great deal left to do on this one.

Getting there
Re: My Polo Turbo
Currently in paint
Re: My Polo Turbo
Wheels are done
Pretty paintwork
sent some parts off to be re-created in carbon fibre, such as my Zender spoiler and my mirror caps and door handles.
I do however NEED an open air roof spoiler / wind deflector... if anyone's got one laying about?
