Where do i get a standard 6n2 GTI exhaust?

Post by mcpickering »

Hey guys, recently bought a Polo GTI from a guy in here, jamesgti_nffc (this one)

anyway, the car is great apart from the exhaust is a little too loud for me as a day-to-day so wondered where i could get a standard one?

would anyone want to swap a standard one for my exhaust? it is a powerflow.

looks like this....

Thanks guys.

Nice looking car :)
Unfortunately I think most people on here prefer hidden exhausts.
Your best option is to buy one from a car being broken, and try to sell your exhaust on the bay or in the general for sale sections of forums, you'll have more luck that way as you selling to larger audience then just the GTI owners

Hope this helps and good luck :)

Has the current exhaust got a silencer or has it been removed?
If its just the sound putting you off then you could always take it to a powerflow dealer and get them to put in a silencer.

If not you could look for a second hand exhaust as Vertity mentioned below, a new system from Volkswagen is £500+ so I would avoid getting a brand new one, another option would be to buy a new custom system from powerflow for around £350 and tell them exactly how loud you want it to be etc
