My Dark Blue 6n2 1.4 16v pics

Post by mattskate »

hi,
ok here are sum pics of my polo.
there is still quite alot i wanna do to it but this is what i done so far:

Decent head-unit (obviously),
Put in JBL GT5 12" sub+1100W amp which sounds perfect :),
tinted the windows,
put xenon type headlight bulbs in,
debadged it.....and so far thats pretty much it.
I jus got a stubby little ariel for it, sum LED number plate lights and a honycomb grill for the front, just waiting for them to come.

Also i cant lower it coz it will put my insurance up £500 (already paying £2,500) which as tempting as it sounds i wouldnt just out of princible tbh.....

but any ideas, tips or whatever would be greatly appreciated, cheers :)

before tinting

Looking good! I have an identical one I got a month ago. First car!

Who is that with insurance wise? I'm looking at £2600 with LV. Only planning on lowering it 40mm or so (so can just use springs rather than coilovers) so hopefully that won't be too obvious for insurance.

You gotta resize the pics to 800/600 mate or they will automatically crop them a little bit, I had the same problem before.
Nice car too btw :D

Click on the image on photobucket then there should be an option to edit, then click resize and type in 800 x 600 in the boxes, then save changes. you might have to re-post the pics on the forum though after you edit them :)

Ok a few updates, got a new honeycomb GTI grill, stubby aerial and GTI spoiler.
Decided I'm gonna sort out sum stuff that actually needs doing next before I add more to it like the passenger window not working and now the weathers picking up I'm probs gonna need it, and a new exhaust coz mines a bit rusty. Also my back wiper isn't working so I might jus take it off?
