How do I get the old HIDs out??

My new HIDs have turned up and I can't seem to get the old bulb out.
It might just be me being too carefull but I don't fancy forcing them and breaking summin by doing it wrong lol
Any help would be much appreciated

There's a black ring thing that holds the bulb in place in the projector. I'm not sure if it twists off or pulls off. Whichever it is it's damn tight and ultimately is how I ended up breaking the adjuster on the drivers side (trying to force it back on).
Few other tips, on the drivers side you'll need to remove the air feed.
Passenger side you'll need to move/remove the battery.
Also, don't try to remove them with the black headlight cover still on the back of the unit. It's just too fiddly!
A lot of that goes without saying though...

Thanks man!
Soon as I posted this I twisted with a bit more effort and they came off
I had the bumper off to do it cos the bulbs cost me a fortune I didn't fancy leaning in the bay and doin it lol
