Hi guys, have a problem with our 52plate tdi sport polo..
From starting its fine and all Pas works then once revved the PAS lights comes on and the PAS stops working and the dash instruments stop working... It can be driven but just has no PAS or dash instruments!
Any ideas??

its yur battery running low, but its actually your altenator.ive got the exact same problem with mine atm.

Thats correct as derbyloo mentioned it might be because of the battery.
I also had this issue. If you have access to a vagcom that will tell you if theres any faults with the car.. With my car i had the exact same issue where there would be no power steering and the dashbaord will be half lit or sometimes nothing showing. So i managed to sort it out the problem by following this guide:

because the alternator was not charging which meant my battery was nackered.. Had to change the battery after i had fixed the wires underneath the car.
