Sim's Dub-Polo Project

Post by ghat4 »

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum & I have a navy blue Polo 6N2. Had it since Jan 2012 & still slowly working on it.

Things done so far:

- Lenso BSX 15" Alloys
- FK AK Street Coilovers (lowered around 62mm)
- Tinted Windows
- Front Gti Lip
- Gti Honeycombe Grille
- Vibe Slick Components with tweeters

After a good wash I fitted the honeycombe grille on & changed the number plates aswell. I bought some BBS centre cap stickers (from ebay), and glued them on with double sided tape & super glue

Got tints on the car & got the GTI front lip, heres how it looks now.....

After tints, light smoked at the front and dark smoked at the back.....

I lowered it by 62mm, I've tested it and its not touching the tyres at all even over humps at 60mph, I might lower the front abit more.
The tyres are 15x7 all round, I was going to get 15x8 at the back.
FK coilovers are wicked mate and their a reasonable price too

Yeh mate the ride feels good, don't deck it too much though otherwise it'll look silly. I was surprised that the ride was good, I thought it was going to be s*** too.
How much you get your FKs for??

Yea I wont be going too low, theres a really nasty bump outside my house so probably going to stick around the same height as yours.
and I got them brand new off ebay for £194.95 or something like that
