Seen quite a few polo's where the two heater surrounds and the centre parts of the dash have been painted gloss black and fancy getting mine done.are they hard to remove?

Centre console comes out easily just remove cd player undo the screws and pop out think it's like 4 screws.
Haven't removed the vents above had a little look at it and looks like it just pops out but chance of snapping some plastic clips is probably high![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

U wanna be careful with windscreen vent pal, it pulls out but if i remember it also has a screw in the center

The windscreen vent needs to be pried out carefully as it is moulded into the dashboard. You will probably have to glue it in place afterwards as well.
I took mine out to carbon wrap and it just sits in place which has been fine although when the carbon gets hot it lifts in the corners as the carbon is shrinking and pulling it up, it returns to normal when cold though. Beings as your painting yours though, you wont have this problem.
