Hi

I've just been thinking, if my gearbox dies on me sometime soon I'd consider an engine conversion. What are the alternatives to the current 1.6. Would a 1.8T work? Any other ideas?

1.8ts will go in yes. You'll need about £2k to do a decent job plus skills in welding and engine mount making etc.

vr6 will be too tight i'd imagine. I'd only consider the 1.8 really
