Golf and Polo bits, G60 brakes

Post by TriggerFish »

Hi all,

Got a couple of sets of brakes from my Polo, and whatever I could scavenge off my old Golf before it went. For more pictures of everything, see here: http://s660.photobucket.com/albums/uu32 ... or%20sale/

I don't have a phone at the minute - it's in for repair, so PM or replies to this thread would be the best way to get me. :)

All parts in Aylesbury (working in Oxford until the end of July, then enjoying the summer until my final uni year!). Can happily meet 1/2 way to save postage within reasonable distances.

I'll start with the Golf bits first.

1) Set of DEPO projector 'R32' style headlights. Only been on the car since the end of February, and the car was sold in start of June. It was off the road for a month in that time, so they've only seen 3 months of use. Except for the holes for the HID leads in the back of the covers, they really are as new. Same as these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-IV-98 ... 738wt_1037 Are currently set for RHD, but can be altered with a switch. I've got some H7 HID bulbs I can include too for a few extra ££.

Looking for around £100 + postage.

2) Set of rear Golf mud gaurds. Nothing special, or interesting.

Looking for around £5 + postage.

3) PD 150 ARL ECU. VW Part number: 038 906 019 HH
BOSCH P/N (the make that seems to narrow it down to engine type/map): 0 281 010 976

Bought off eBay to replace the ECU in my car which was incorrectly diagnosed as faulty. Swapped the ECU and it was still at fault (the car misfired, and ECU couldn't be talked too). Tried re-running the wiring and a new dashpod and it still wouldn't work. Believe the ECU to be working fine though. Car was coded for cruise control too as an added bonus! Looking to get around what I paid so £130 + postage (paid £150).

4) Golf front door bin inserts.

Looking for postage only.

5) Golf 1.9 TDI engine cover.

Slightly broken top mount - works fine, just needs care when removing.

£20 + postage.

Polo bits!

1) I've got a set of 280mm brakes (off an Ibiza) consisting of callipers, carriers and pads. Disks I don't have as they're in use on my Polo still with my new set up.

It's worth noting the callipers have a different fitments to the Polo ones, so won't work without new hoses - see pictures. One was refurbed 100miles before I bought them, so the seller claims. Looks clean though! Carriers were painted recently, but could do with a thorough clean. Pads have good life, but one had some strange wear on the sides. I never noticed until I removed them, but not sure I'd run them for long myself.

Callipers:

Carriers:

^Note, they're the 256mm callipers there, I got them mixed up!

Pads:

Good life, weird fracture on one.

Let me know which bits you want and I'll get a price sorted.

2) A set of Polo GTi 256mm brakes. I've got everything hear, callipers, carriers disks and pads. Disks aren't too old as the car came with warped ones so I replaced them. They're maybe 15,000 gentle miles old? The lip on them is less than 1mm though. Pads you can see for yourself. Kitten not included!

£60 + postage?

3)A set of rear callipers. They came with the 280mm brakes by mistake. I asked the guy if he wanted them back and he said not too worry. Don't know if they'll fit Polo hoses, but they look like the Polo callipers so should fit physically I'd guess,

Image

No idea - doubt anyone will want them. Can look into prices if someone does though! Sold

4) I've got Golf Recaro seats in the car, so I've got the GTi front seats and rear seat foams free. (Had to use the rear seat backs to mount the Recaros.) Will happily sell these as long as I can take any 3 door seats in PX so I can pass the MOT (front seats don't tilt, no rear access). No pictures yet, but they're in fantastic condition, just need hoovering. As you've guessed, it's for a 3 door car (should fit 5 doors too?). Swapping the GTi foams onto the other seat backs is pretty easy, shouldn't take too long.

5) 90amp alternator. Doesn't work - useful to anyone?

Happy to swap P/X items for Polo for e46 parts - let me know what you have - Polo body parts in red are nearly always welcome!

Cheers!
Joe

They're from a 6n2, they won't fit the 9n in your photo (if that's what you wanted them for?). Can still get pictures though, just need to hoover them as they're covered in sand or something!
