Scuttle Panel Removal

Hi,

Need to remove the plastic Scuttle Panel on my wifes Polo GTI to look for the ongoing saga of a water leak.

Is it just a case of unbolting the wipers and then does the scuttle panel unclip or are there screws?

Seen an AA guy remove and refit one to do a windscreen recently wipers need to come off then the soft forward trim nearer the radiator is removed then gently pull scuttle panel forward out of the rubber below the windscreen, He refitted it but sprayed it with soapy water. That was it sutttle panel seems to slot in a small groove type channel. Car was a Rtype polo diesel
mines a Gt Blue but the same design, Hope this helps
