I am regrettably selling my Lupo 20vt Project.
The car was originally a 1.4s and is a 1999 model.
the car itself has done 79k and the engine 120k.
tax and Mot till Feb 2013
so about the car:
Engine:
APP from a Seat Leon Cupra - 180bhp
running standard leon intercooler - modified piping
exhaust is from the standard leon just cut and welded to fit the lupo
backbox is a lupo back box
Battery re-routed to the boot.
Set up:
Drive shafts have been custom made but are shortened mk2 16v's
Hubs and brakes are from a polo gti 256mm
AP coilovers
Interior:
Burgundy leather interior courtesy of Duncan Smith automotive.
Wheels:
G60 steels - plenty of tread on the tyres
Bad points:
The has a slight wiring issue that occurs when the MAF is plugged in. This is to d with my attempt to delete the secondary air pump. If taken to a mappers it is a n issue that can be sorted for £200-£400.
the exhaust hits the exhaust tunnel on turning left. I have not yet got round to re-routing the exhaust.
steering wheel needs new "squib" not a big issue just mean airbag light is on and no self canceling indicators.
I have built this between me and my friends over 1.5 years and we have had a great time doing it.
I have just run out of funds to put the final touches to her.
