Please help with starting Rclick kit installation for 9n

Hi,

I have bought an RClick kit to change my central locking into remote central locking. I have the 9n 3 door polo (round headlights 2003 model) and have read all the data on installation. I believe I have to add the kit to the dirver's door where I can splice into the central locking control unit. Is this correct? Other info on the internet points towards a convenience unit near the clutch pedal?

Is the connector block behind the driver's door where I need to be focusing on? Please see page 9 photo of this

Any info is very welcome as the Rclick kit seems to be popular and decent quality, but I can't for the love of me work out where I start!
