buying a GTI

Post by dubpolo »

What should I look out for?

I know about the pedal box etc, is there anything else?

corrosion on the alloy wheels seems to be a common problem... if buying from dealer try and get them replaced before you drive it away cos I am having trouble getting them replaced under warranty! and they cost £300 each to replace!!

Thats a steal mate. :!:

Mine had 35000 miles 2 and half month ago and cost me 7500.

I've also noticed a red 3 door at my local VW which was £9995. Thats around the same milage as the one you've seen.

Get it test driven, you'll fall in love instantly.

P.S
Corroshion is a miss type (there's no H in it) :D [/quote]
