I got some pro sport coilovers for Christmas I was fitting them today and on the rear tread on the top mount is about and inch to sort?

When you say an inch too short how are you meaning? Youll have to jack the rear axle up once you have removed the old suspension and fitted the new suspension in order to be able to tighten it up into place.
