Centre air vents....

Are anybodys centre air vents 'loose'?

In other words, do they tend not to sit where you set them? I've had the air-con on recently and the power of it just blows the vents in the 'straight ahead' position and not where I want it to go.

I never noticed this before but its also the same situation when the air con is off. (they seem VERY loose and it only takes gravity for them to move down)

Sorry if it doesn't make sense but i tried my best!

is your car under warranty?
technically it is a vw manufacturers fault aint it!
i dont think theres any way of tightening the vents so they should replace them

Mine does it too.

It falls down (or up). Haven't be bothered to fix it

Yeah mine did it, got them replaced under warranty cos its really annoying when you try to get the air con in your direction.
