Interior Lights

Hello,

Anyone know where and which size LED's are needed to replace the interior light. I take it it's the same one that turns on when opening the door and the mapping light? Which size and how many LED's do I need to make it brighter?
Also, are these the same as the license plate LEDs?

How good are you with a soldiering iron? I cut the while bulb business out and just wired in two led strips, means the whole lense lights up not just one inch in the center. Looks 10x better and a lot brighter, I can post a picture later tonight if you'd like ?

there are two small 501(sidelight type) bulbs either side and yes there is a festoon in the middle and should be the same as your number plates thik i fitted a 36mm but if you get it wrong they are cheap so you may be able to get another or squeeze it in.

Two 501 W5W and one 265 bulb. Remember to check which is the positive and negative before fitting any led's! From what ive read else where the brown cable is usually the negative for Polos.
