Never really thought much about the BT-Audio option in my car but was messing around tonight with it. Does the standard RCD-310 come with any Bluetooth options because there is definitely an option for it in setup and it can be turned on and off, but I can't pair the car with my iPhone? And only sometime I can pick up a Bluetooth device which is called 'Handsfree' but I don't even know if it is the cars!
Anyone help?

Re: Bluetooth
If you don't have the "option", you can't pair your phone and use the hands free function.
(It's like that in France)
But if you want to add bluetooth to the factory headunit :

I'll do it in my grilfriend's Polo
the installation is pretty simple.

Ask them if the RCD310 is comptaible to be sure, I have the RCD510

Re: Bluetooth
You need a 'Highline' cluster (only in the GTI) or a touchscreen radio/satnav unit for the Bluetooth to work. If you've got a MFSW, I believe that it can work in a more basic way, with just voice control to your phone (like the factory system in the Ibiza).
