2005 Polo 9N Twist, Black, 1.2.

Post by ce82 »

2005 Volkswagen Polo MK6 Twist. It's a 1.2 engine, 65 BHP with 88,000 miles covered and is absolutely superb in regards to fuel economy. The car has served us brilliantly since we bought it from VW as we are the only owners from new.

It has been thoroughly serviced and looked after by a well established VW garage with brand new front tyres (fitted last week) and rears with plenty of life left. The car will have 6 months left on both tax and MOT at time of purchase.

The car was attended to in June 2009 for what was later diagnosed as a faulty cambelt sensor (£7 to replace) and went undiagnosed by the AA attending to it on our driveway. By missing this fault, the AA representative attempted to tow start the vehicle which was followed up by a £4000 damage claim replacement for a new engine, gearbox and clutch when the car had only covered 60,000 miles, fitted and documented by a VW endorsed garage, paid for by the AA as they were at fault. This engine, clutch and gearbox has only seen 30,000 miles! The car operates superbly, has never failed to start, never broken down and has never been in an accident as it has been my pride and joy! I have recently had the exhaust system replaced (due to selling) as I had a sports exhaust fitted 3 years ago but it now runs on a new, silent stock VW exhaust (Also fitted last week).

It has had a new set of aftermarket springs fitted, lowered on Apex 35mm springs making it much better (and smoother) to drive and has been fitted with anthracite BK 299, 17" alloy wheels. I Still have the original springs (fantastic condition) if you wish to have them as well as the 5 original wheels from VW, all with tyres. The interior is spotless.

The car has also been fitted with an aftermarket pioneer headunit for iPod connectivity and has new rear tailights from the '9n3' (newer model) fitted.

The body work is in good condition with some minor scratches and tiny dents from what has fallen off the trees in our driveway. This car is a brilliant run around and is either a great car for a new driver (very cheap to insure, tax and run) or an individual looking to save money on fuel economy and road tax over a larger car. It's also brilliant in the snow and winter weather.

Please call me on 07810011581 if you wish to see the car (you really need to see it and drive in it to appreciate it!). I am based between Brighton (East Sussex), Dorking and Guildford (Surrey), whichever is easier for you! I will be devastated to see it go but as I will be commuting long distances daily, I require a bigger car.

£3,500

Thanks,
Chris
