Ventilation System problem

Hi all, during the past year the temperature in the ventilation system has steadily decreased until its barely usable now. In cold weather, turning the dial to maximum heat would give lukewarm at best. Similarly, turning the temperature ta maximum cold with the AC on barely cools the air. Another symptom was foam blowing through all the vents, which made me suspect that something was wrong in the insulation part of the system.

What do you guys think? Has anyone had a similar problem?

How hard is it to access those doors in the 6N2 dash? Thanks
