i would imagine they would obviously due to the body being different

its just i might buy a polo with a dodgy engine and have a golf with a pd130 in it

they will fit, maybe minor mods need to be done but i even doubt it.
why not go for a 1.9 TDi Pd130 cupra engine?
they have diffrent turbo's and gearboxes, fenomenal after a chiptune!

yes, i know this because 2 friends of mine had both ibiza's, FR TDi and a Cupra TDi.
the cupra has a bigger turbo as standars over the FR, alone with remap they reach 200bhp easy.
goes like crazy, did 14.5 on the 1/4mile while it was raining badly!

the Fr was more heavely tuned, bigger turbo etc etc... it ran 220Hp.
sad to say the least but the Cupra was still the faster one, just because of the gearbox.
Fr has really long gears while the Cupra had pretty short gears, but the where spread perfectly.

a PD130 engine is verry good, but with remap they stop at around 165Hp.
so to run 200Hp or more you need another turbo, so if you cant find a Cupra D engine, search for the gearbox at least
