Well since your fogs don't actually work then I'd be inclined to think that they aren't actually 'lights' and so it wouldn't matter. I'd still steer clear of red though, just in case. You can't display a red light at the front...
I think you'll be fine, I've got purple tinted fogs on mine and light goes through them fine, and yeah they can be removed.
Your best looking on eBay actually you'll get similar cheaper film on there
On eBay you can get ones from Germany that are cheaper (well you get more material for your money) but as i'm doing only the fogs it means little to me.
Going to order them later. . .going to go for yellow even though they won't go with my car. Haha should be easy to put on and just looks a bit different.
I had the yellow on mine, and just changed to the smoked, both look great, just take your time putting it on, you'll need a hair dryer and a craft knife. Plenty of vids on YouTube for a how to
The how to I watched was on a big merc's headlights. Looked awesome but he was really pulling on the plastic really right to stretch it. I fear I won't be able to do that haha. My fog lights wouldn't originally fit and took ages to get the grill on flush around them so I want to avoid touching them as much as possible haha.
Going to order them tomorrow once I measure the dimensions of the fogs.
Wonder could I get away with applying them without taking off my fog grills as I really don't think i'd be able to get them back on haha.
I think it would be very tedious without removing the fogs to get the film on nice, its not hard to remove the fogs and would make your life so much easier doing so!
