ABS pump replacement cost?

Just wondering if anyone has had there abs pump replaced and what it cost them so I know roughly what I'm expecting to pay.
Checked fuses which are good, and plugged into vagcom which comes up with abs pump failure.

Speak to VW customer services, they were replacing them FOC a while back as a goodwill gesture due to alot of failures on certain ones.. Otherwise they are very expensive, cant remember exactley how much but around the grand mark to fix.
Edit: Found this thread on one of the forums I use. The guy whose user name is in orange is a VW tech.

Somewhere I've seen something about a dry joint in the control box that just needs re-soldering...is this the same thing??

Theres a company out there that can fix the ecu now. Get on briskoda and do some research.
