Polo 6n2 Andreaaaa Slow Build Thread

Post by MAA_X14 »

In September I bought this whip as my first car. 1.4 Match 60hp.

The first Mod introduced was a new radio, from my mums polo 9n.

then I got the sub

I decided to wrap the logo in carbon fibre

And as I am only 17 and I have no money, small mods were made

the GTi grill. I got tired of the carbon wrapped logo so it got painted black and white on the inside

and some stickers

Back window stickers and the shocker hand on the bottom. 8) 8)

During the night some W***** took my door mirror off and drove off   :x :x

At the moment it looks like this, however more mods are planned. Leather seats from mk3 golf and some bbs rs reps. hopefully santa will bring something nice. Defo need to get it dropped. the gap is too big :| :|

Good start, sorry to hear about the door mirror, keep an eye out on eBay as they go very cheap. White is nice colour on the 6n2, kept an eye out for one myself but they are pretty rare

Thanks mate, had a look at your car, it's really nice. The coilovers make the car look so much nicer

So Christmas came and I got new pressies. Angel eyes and new mirror covers in black

The old ones were really fogged up

Taking the bumper off and removing the old headlights was a painful and it took ages. The angel eyes were easy to fit in. I just plugged them in and they were working. Overall it took me about 4 hours to get them fitted

Next I ordered a sticker from bad boy products to mess about with the car

Did some parts of the interior, however I will soon change it into carbon

New Wheels on the car!

Post by MAA_X14 »

So yesterday was my 18th birthday and my parents got me the best present! BBS RS reps, probably Dare RS, but I love them! They make the polo look so much better and the wheels make the car stand out.

Now I am keeping a look out for the GTi splitter, GTi fog light grills, bottom GTi grill and some fog lights, as I heard that no wiring up is needed as the wires are already there and it is just a plug in. However before I do all of that I want to buy new components for the front as I popped the standard speakers and just tweeters are working at the moment. The components I am looking at are Alpine Type R ones from Car Audio Security for £180, so got a bit of saving up to do haha
