Changing rear number plate lights.....help pls
Changing rear number plate lights.....help pls
I have a 2002 1.2 9n Polo since November last year and it came with an after-market rear number plate light fitted to replace the two originals that have had their wires cut for some reason. I want to remove it and refit a pair of new ones to sit in the proper recesses, but I think that I have to remove the black plastic trim on the inside of the boot space behind the number plate. There don't seem to be any hidden screws so I'm guessing that it's all fixed with poppers. I've managed to free the two thin side bits, but I can't get it any freer without pulling really hard and I'm worried I might break some tabs or poppers. Can anyone tell me how I should go about it. Thanks.

My husband help me to free the trim, but it turns out that the bumper has to come off to get access to the wiring and connecting block. A job for next weekend providing it stays dry enough.
