Steering wheel airbag removal

Post by 6n2stan »

Apologies as this has been covered already looking in the archives.

Which bit am I trying to spring off? Is it the little plates at the 10 and 2 o'clock positions or the ends of the spring wire?

As people have said before, this is an arse but at least I've found this picture as a bit of a guide!

Cheers.

The plates at 10 and 2 o'clock. One of the hardest things i've done to this car so far. Be patient and good luck, you will need it!!

As far as i remember you pinch them in (towards the steering column).
Turn the wheel a quarter first to gain better access
