aanother 312mm brake question

i have recently acquired a set of front calipers and carriers from a mk5 golf gti but i cant seem to find any info as to whether these will fit or not on my 9n3 gti?

every guide or answer i see to this question only ever states mk4 golf/octavia/TT etc and never mentions anything newer... does this mean they dont work or just everyone is copying the list the peron before them has put up?

i will eventually try them on but if someone can categorically tell me if they fit or not this would put my mind at ease.....

Won't fit I'm afraid. You need them from any car with the 5 x100 pcd hub.
