ABS code DTC 00283 on 2003 1.4 Tdi 9N

Hope you are well.

Recently started getting the ABS light flashing up every so often. Its now on permanently.

Code I read initially was DTC 00283, which was front left wheel speed sensor, faulty signal, intermittent.

Had it over at the garage over the weekend as I didn't fancy messing around with it myself.

Garage say that both magnetic plates for the ABS ring need to be replaced, the sensors are working fine.

Had a look around and cant find the replacement parts.

Any one else had similar issues?
